I know I know I know I know
you HAVE to keep these things up, or people don't visit your blog. Basically, what happened was; Zoe had her wisdom teeth removed, then we went to Madeline Island in Northern Wisconsin. There was absolutely no internet/ Wi-Fi access there whatsoever.
Now - while we had a great time relaxing, hanging out in the sun, and kayaking... we also had an absurdly horrible experience with the car. Long story short, it broke down en route... then I had to deal with tow-companies pretty much every day for a week (as no one in the area could fix the car). Seriously, somehow they kept being cancelled (not by me)... oh and in the end - Hertz rentals charged us like quadruple what the original price was!!!!
We also took some really great photo's along the water at night. I took them with a slow shutter speed and a large aperture, so they all have a really great 'eerie' feeling to them. I took this one of Zoe sort of 'swishing' around ->
She then took the camera from me and (using the same settings) took one of me... which for some reason - keeps getting awkwardly cropped by Blogger.
The almost smoky haze is caused by moving just a little bit, while the lens was open. There are a few more, but I'm thinking they will actually become items for sale on our etsy site As large-format images.
Oh, and of course - I retain the copyright for these photographs. You are not allowed to use them for your financial gain... or use them without my permission.
Anyways, I digress... Right now - I'm on a fact-finding mission outside of the US. Basically, an opportunity has risen that... I don't think I can miss up. Friends & family already know.... no - it's nothing bad. I don't want to get into detail now, because - if I take this opportunity... I'll have to send a very awkward email.
