FOAMLESS = HOMELESS PREVIEW SHOTS

Some studio shots of my house mountain in progress. Just imagine it all with more foam and less plastic wrap. That's there so I can pull my houses out of the foam for moving.

MFA AUCTION (and other updates)

Apologies for the lack of updates recently.  Zoe & I try to post something up here at least once a week... but November has been quite busy.

First things first - I've been working like a madman in the print studio recently, and am working on two new litho's that fall in line with the one I recently posted (which btw - I decided looked better flipped around...) - when I can get a place with GOOD lighting, I'll post up all three

Also - scarves are coming back!  After a Skype conversation, we decided to make some more.  These will look very different than the first series.  I'm going to try and print them on Monday... so they'll be available just before Christmas

and Finally - the image for "Lost Sheep in Glasgow" will be available for sale at the Glasgow School of Art MFA Auction this December 3rd.  All the proceeds go to the MFA students' final show which will be held in Berlin (details on that a bit later)

It will be at The Birggait, 141 Bridgegate
6PM – Preview & Silent Auction with complimentary canapés and apéritifs
8:30PM – Live Auction begins

New Prints...

I just finished a series of new (large) litho prints in Glasgow...

The image is just over two feet wide and three feet tall.

There are two different versions of it: for one print, I 'fixed' some glitter by reprinting the blue layer (after finishing all the other colors) with just transparent base.  Immediately after printing that layer, I coated the paper with glitter - and it only stuck where the trans-base was.

Unfortunately - the lighting in the studio wasn't so hot (there's basically only those ceiling lights found in offices) and it was a particularly cloudy day.  They look incredible and vibrant in person, but on the wall, a spotlight is pretty much necessary.  Which is why I also included the original drawing at the bottom.

But anyways - I don't have a title yet, and I'm pretty sure that this image will be a part of the series relating to the "Saint Lucy" image
